Neither side has to trust the other.
Cordiw Agency holds the buyer's funds in a segregated trust account while the seller performs. Money moves only when the terms both parties signed have actually been met — no chargebacks, no wire fraud, no "the check is in the mail".
Five steps, one settlement
Every Cordiw file follows the same sequence. Both parties see each step as it clears.
Terms agreed
Buyer and seller settle price, inspection period and delivery method. We put it in writing.
Buyer funds escrow
Payment arrives by wire or ACH into our segregated trust account and is verified.
Seller delivers
Only after funds clear does the seller ship the goods or transfer the asset.
Buyer inspects
The agreed inspection window starts on delivery. Accept, or open a dispute in writing.
Funds released
On acceptance we disburse to the seller, usually the same or next business day.
What we hold in escrow
From a $2,500 domain name to a seven-figure equipment package — if title or delivery can be verified, we can settle it.
Domain & Website Escrow
Registrar transfer confirmed by our officer before the seller is paid. Includes hosted sites, apps and social accounts.
DetailsMotor Vehicle Escrow
Classic cars, RVs, boats, trailers and aircraft. We coordinate title, lien payoff and transport documents.
DetailsGeneral Merchandise
Watches, jewelry, art, collectibles and electronics, with a defined inspection period on arrival.
DetailsMilestone Payments
Contracted work released stage by stage. The contractor knows the money exists; you keep control of it.
DetailsMachinery & Equipment
Construction, agricultural and industrial equipment, including freight-on-delivery inspections.
DetailsBusiness & Asset Sales
Small-business acquisitions, client books, IP portfolios and asset purchase agreements.
DetailsThe money is out of both parties' hands.
A buyer sending a wire directly has no recourse. A seller shipping first has no recourse either. Escrow removes the question entirely: the funds sit with a neutral agency that is contractually bound to release them only against performance.
- Client funds held in a segregated trust account, never commingled with company operating funds.
- Written escrow instructions signed by both parties before a dollar moves.
- Identity and beneficial-ownership verification on every file (KYC / OFAC screening).
- Wire instructions issued once, from one channel, and never changed by email.
- A named escrow officer on your file — not a ticket queue.

Every file that comes through this office belongs to somebody who has worked hard for that money. We do not release a single dollar until the paperwork says we should — and we say so in writing, to both sides, before we start. Christian Jensen · Founder & Managing Escrow Officer, CORDIW LLC
Questions we get every week
In a segregated trust account held at a U.S. bank in the name of the escrow trust — not in CORDIW LLC's operating account. Company creditors have no claim to it, and we cannot draw on it except to disburse under the signed escrow instructions.
Domains often close in two to four business days. Physical goods depend on shipping plus the inspection period the parties agreed — commonly three to five days after delivery. Disbursement itself is same or next business day once the buyer accepts.
The buyer must state the reason in writing inside the inspection window and return the item under the terms in the escrow instructions. Funds stay in trust until the return is confirmed or the parties agree on a resolution. Nothing is released to either side while a dispute is open.
Never. Our banking details are issued once and do not change mid-file. If you receive an email claiming otherwise, it is fraud — stop and call us at (719) 345-2298 using the number on this website.
